今天看chapter9-10。新年开始Marva班上有了13名学生，现在要处理班上学生年龄层太多的问题。
第十章又详细介绍了Marva使用phonetics的方法，她真的是特别有活力！相信阅读的力量，每天学生有自由阅读的时间，Marva老师以身作则，和学生一起读并分享自己读的书。课外也有阅读书目，两周分享一次，分享的时候必须先介绍书名和作者名（这样每个学生都有话说）。
还有她对测试的看法，告诉学生考试只是一个工具，方便老师来调整接下来的课程安排。
学生是逐步变化的，老师要调整好心态，不要着急，think positively。
师生关系中教师的“期待”最重要。永远不要给学生贴标签Often a problem in the classroom lies not with the child but in the relationship between the child and the teacher. A teacher’s assessment of achild is necessarily based on that teacher’s life experience.
The only way to motivate children is to make them stretch.
Children used to failure needed goals if they were going to succeed.
