Some Feelings 17

men and women are extremely different animals. 

last night i watch several Episodes of Friends, a well-known  America situation comedy. 

i hadn't heard about this  famous and popular TV program until i went to university in 2009. it reminded me of my school days. i'm fond of studying English without any reason when i was a child. although it is tough and miserable for so many people to memories the English words, i really enjoy it. i even can spend a whole afternoon reading the vocabulary book. 

in the university, i joined an English club in the first year. one day, the club was going to organise the students to watch an English movie. so the organizer asked every member to provide several famous ones. 

all the foreign movies i had watched was from CCTV-6. i came from a poor village where the computer was not universal. and if i wanted to surf the Internet, i must go to the town by 15 minutes' riding. as far as i know, almost all the people, mainly the students, go to the Internet bar for playing games. it is so strange that i have no interest in any games whether before or now. maybe everyone has his/her own unique interest. therefore i hardly went to the Internet bar unless i needed to download the music. i even got my first QQ number after the National College Entrance Examination. well i just want to say that i scarcely has the approach to get the English resource. so when the senior asked my recommendation, i just replied her with the Sleepless in Seattle （《西雅图夜未眠》）and Serendipity（《缘分天注定》）which i watched through movie channel in the quiet night and impressed me so much. 

one time, i overheard someone asking my classmate, a very funny and outgoing guy from a big city, "what English programs he often watched in his spare time and liked very much". he said a lot of names, however, no one had i heard about. one of those programs is Friends. that was the first time i knew it. i always keep something in mind for a long time if i care that. i think everyone is the same. although it is just a difference on the quantity of the movies we watched, at that time it made a so big difference that i began to realize the great gap between city and country. 

well, actually this is not what i really want to say. 

i just wanna say the significant difference between women and men. i will take a situation in the Friends as the example. 

Rachel Monica Phoebe Ross  Chandler Joseph 

Ross has to keep away from Rachel for a long time after he is with Julia. but one night he can't help kissing Rachel or maybe Rachel can't help kissing Ross. anyway they kissed. 

let's see what their friends will say and do upon hearing such a sudden "kissing".

Monica and Phoebe: 

they certainly felt absolutely surprised, excited and happy first. then they got a drink and sink into the sofa looking forward to hearing the romantic kiss. obviously， Phoebe is so curious about the details that she asked a lot of questions, including the starting, climax and ending of the attracting kiss. 

Chandler and Joseph: 

Ross: i kissed Rachel last night. 

Chandler and Joseph：tongue?（你们懂的）

Ross: yeah.

Chandler and Joseph：cool. 

over. 

just two words. 

this is man. 

as the 俗话 saying：women are the 八卦est in the world. 

i watch the video with Chinese subtitle while recently i watch it just with English subtitle. i found that it is not so difficult for me to understand. their dialog is very simple and daily. there are few unknown words in every Episode. even if any, you can guess the possible meaning according to the situation. 

i have to say that watching Friends without Chinese subtitle is a definitely good and efficient way to learn oral English. 

i'm busy but i love hard work, at least it can bring me a sound sleep and if lucky, a sweet dream.
