雅思阅读的正确姿势 C13 T1-1(目标8分)

    大体步骤

    1. 先看标题:Case Study: Tourism New Zealand website,好了,大概是关于新西兰旅游网站的内容,够了,就此打住

    2. 接下来看后面的体型,本篇阅读只有2种体型,填空(One Word Only)和判断(T/F/NG)。这两种题型一般都是顺序题,既在文中会依次出现Q1、Q2、Q3.......等的答案。

    3. 接下来找关键字,对于填空题来说,可以一次多记几个关键字

    填空题

    Q1 & Q2:

    这两题都是在website下面的database描述中,所以首先在原文中,使用略读法,找到database,或者其意义类似的词,不过database比较专业,貌似没有替换的,那就首先找database这个关键字吧。

    首先是第一段

    New Zealand is a small country of four million inhabitants, a long-haul flight from all the major tourist-generating markets of the world. Tourism currently makes up 9% of the country's gross domestic product, and is the country's largest export sector. Unlike other export sectors, which make products and then sell them overseas, tourism brings its customers to New Zealand. The product is the country itself-the people, the places and the experiences. In 1999, Tourism New Zealand launched a campaign to communicate a new brand position to the world. The campaign focused on New Zealand's scenic beauty, exhilarating outdoor activities and authentic Maori culture, and it made New Zealand one of the strongest national brands in the world.

    略读发没发现database相关的关键字,所以这段是废话,幸好没认真看,卧槽,浪费了30秒

    接下来第二段

    A key feature of the campaign was the website www.newzealand.com, which provided potential visitors to New Zealand with a single gateway to everything the destination had to offer. The heart of the website was a database of tourism services operators, both those based in New Zealand and those based abroad which offered tourism services to the country.

    哈哈,找到了database这个关键字了,全神贯注,准备找答案。

    按照步骤来,题目首先给了一句话帮助我们定位 Easy for tourism-related business to get on the list,所以先找到这句话的同义语句,帮助我们定位,继续向下找,发现了

    Any tourism-related business could be listed by filling in a simple form.

    OK,关键字可以替换,filling a simple form不就是很easy么,所以Q1和Q2的答案应该紧跟在后面了。

    接下来定位Q1的关键字,business应该不是关键字,右边格子里的三句话都有business这个词,没办法用来定位,所以排除。那么Q1的关键字就只有information 和 regularly 了。而且空格后面的单词是information,information是一个名词,所以空格里填的有很大的可能性是一个动词。

    继续走下去,发现

    OK,on a regular basis 和题目中的regularly是同义替换,information和details是同义替换,在附近找动词,找到了update,就是它了。

    接下来看Q2,先划出关键词 evaluation 和 impact,然后猜测词性,Q2的词性应该是名词,而且用来修饰impact。开始找这两个关键词的同义替换吧

    And to maintain and improve standards, Tourism New Zealand organized a scheme whereby organizations appearing on the website underwent an independent evaluation against a set of agreed national standards of quality. As part of this, the effect of each business on the 【environment】 was considered.

    evaluation原词出现,impact使用effect进行替换,看看什么用来修饰effect,发现environment,OK,Q2就是它了

    Q3&Q4坐落在special feature的下面,所以先找到关于feature的描写进行定位。

    OK,找到了,后面的内容就仔细找Q3和Q4的答案了。

    Q3关键字是 interview,famous, sports,第一眼看到觉得 sports star也说的过去啊,哈哈。Q3的词性应该是名词。开始在第三段中找关键字

    One of the most popular was an interview with former New Zealand All Blacks rugbycaptain】 Tana Umaga.

    famous,interview都是原词重现,sports用了rugby(橄榄球,貌似是)来替换,这里Q3的答案很明显就是 captain

    Q4关键字是interactive tour,various locations,然后used in sth/swh,Q4的词性应该也是一个名词

    Q5左边的格子关键字是driving route,先在后面找到和driving route有关的描述

    Q5答案必然在这两句话中。先看Q5的关键字varied,突出变化;词性应该是名词

    在文中关键字的后面,直接就是according to the season,和depending on基本上属于同义替换,所以这里Q5填season

    Q6

    先在文中找到travel planner进行粗略定位

    Later, a Travel Planner feature was added, which allowed visitors to click and ‘bookmark’ places or attractions they were interested in, and then view the results on a map.

    Q6关键字为map,public transport,local (sth),词性应该是名词

    上面的句子中,travel planner出来了,map出来了,接下来继续找public transport关键字

    The Travel Planner offered suggested routes and public transport options between the chosen locations. There were also links to 【accommodationin the area.

    OK,public transport也找出来了,接下来只要定位答案了。从题目中,可以看出 local sth和public transport应该是一个并列的关系,然后再句子里找,句子里有suggested routes和public transport是并列关系,但routes是答案么?结果是NO!虽然他们是并列关系,但routes和local之间没有一毛钱的关系,无从修饰。

    那么只能继续向下找了,下一句中,有个also,hoho,这个词也是表示并列关系的,那么答案会不会在这句话里面呢?再瞅瞅,in the area是local的同义替换,那么毫无疑问,Q6的答案就是 accommodation

    Q7

    先在文中找到“Your words”进行粗定位

    By registering with the website, users could save their Travel Plan and return to it later, or print it out to take on the visit. The website also had a ‘Your Words’ section where anyone could submit a 【blog】 of their New Zealand for possible inclusion on the website.

    找到后,看Q7的关键字是link,词性是名词。本文的标题就是website,所以这里的link,指的不是物品之间关联,而是互联网上使用的URL链接等概念。那回过去看,还是有相应同义替换的,如 travellers -- anyone,submit -- send,inclusion on the website -- link,所以,Q7填blog

    判断题(T/F/NG)

    判断题一般也是按序出题的,同样,先找Q8相关的描述
