Today I met a bunch of friends from Foreign Language Middle School, and it really let my hair down talking about new stuff and catching up, provoking a plethora of spontaneous jokes and moving moments. I was jubilant that schoolmates came from different cities to meet me, and I was excited that I started to accept and respect different opinions.
But what I want to talk about is the intern teacher which is excellent at singing and playing the piano, and is admirable by many people in terms of her loving life, her family and her career.
Her story with her husband started in a drizzling and humid night 12 years ago, when the boy was about to go back to New Zealand (a Chinese guy who had spent nearly one decade in NZ). The boy invited her to meet as he had no date before departure and the little girl wished to hang out somewhere with her makeup. Although the boy was dressing not really properly and the umbrella he held kept knocking at her head, it turns out it was a blessing in disguise, that they found they did have a strong and special bond after a drink.
It was funny that after the date -- the boy texted her, telling her to call him as his phone charges owed, and it was kind of normal that ladies would dismiss such msg as they thought the boy a cheapskate. Late in the night, her phone rang. The boy called finally, explaining that he did not like to top up as he was going abroad. Okay, they had so much to chat with each other, and they pulled an all-nighter before the boy's flight in the morning.
In the following 6 months, they stayed in touch via the phone and decided to marry each other. However, the boy's mother tended not to accept it, as they did not hang out a lot, and the boy was about to obtain the PR of NZ when he lived there 10 years, but he was so desperate to marry her that he gave up the expected PR and turned back to China.
It was crazy, right? What do you reckon? Let us look at the next chapters about her.
