玉露金风秋月照。

The autumn moon shines on dew with evening winds blowing

银汉迢迢，

Under the heavenly Milky Way

谁弄纤云巧？

Who plays with the light clouds

天上美女今夕俏，

Fairies from heaven are pretty this evening

琵琶犹抱知音找。

Gladly dancing with their like-minded friends

豆蔻年华心地好。

So kindhearted are the maidens

且问天涯、何处寻芳草。

Where can scent grass be found at the end of the earth

听说人间情未了，

Hearing the love in the human world is not yet settled

月娥舞罢，

Girls begin dancing trippingly

牛哥跳。

Then some boys join them
