晨读让我有一个很好的理由早起，跟大家一起打卡，跟Eric学习有名的演讲稿。第一次写笔记，希望以后能越写越好~
讲解范本：
I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
1. happy的同义词：delighted, elated, glad, joyful, thrilled。但是这里不建议互换，演讲一开始用平淡一点的词比较有代入感，亲切感。
2. join with：与...一起（区分join）
3. go down in history=take your place in history 名垂千古。整个词组连着一起背诵。
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symoblic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation.
1. five score years是100年的意思，这里模仿并致敬Lincoln's Gettysburg Address的four score and seven years。
2. s的头韵，读起来特别顺。
This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.
1. momentous：非常重要，可以替换very important。
2. decree：法令，指代"Emancipation Proclamation”。
3. a great beacon light of hope：希望的灯塔，整体放在一起背诵。
4. sear：灼烧，烤焦的意思，该词是文学用词，此处这么用更加形象生动，表示水深火热之中
It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
1. joyous daybreak黎明的曙光
2. end：简单，但是用了很形象。曲终人散: When the song ends, people scatter.
But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.
1. still is或者is still都可以使用
2. crippled对应not free，每日一次有。
3. sadly，用了一个简单的词来形容cripple。有时候需要简单词和复杂词交替使用，使文章读起来更顺畅。
3. manacle镣铐；chain铁链；segreation隔离；discrimination歧视；这里用了一个平行结构（parallel structure）
One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land.
1. 运用了大量的比喻，使文字更有画面感。
2. poverty贫穷与material prosperity物质繁荣，形成鲜明对比。
3. languish这里等于suffer，表示受苦、受折磨，是一个文学词。
4. society前不能加冠词，比如进入社会：entre society
5. find oneself+名词或者ing形式 发现自己…
6. languish憔悴、失去活力；exile放逐、流放、充军
And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
1. dramatize使引人注目，与the elephant in the room (装看不见)一起记忆。补充更多-ize结尾的词：idolize崇拜、demonize妖魔化、monetize变现、weaponize变成武器、finalize、paralyze、socialize
其他：
关注修辞手法(Rhetorical figures)， 反复出现的意象(Tropes)和主题/母题(Motif) 。
cold call抽查、textbook example教科书般的例子、being bedded by the emperor翻牌。
