I have been writing one article a day on this website for more than 70 days now. OK, I admit. I'm only a writer "Wants to Be". Although the one hundred words requirement is not much, but it has not been that easy. My experience was mixed with love and hate.
Because of the articles I wrote would go on open to the public, I had to avoid doing any personal accounts of daily details. I had to make a point out of everything I wrote. It was far more difficult than just go to my personal journal and write to my heart's content.
Also, It took a lot more of my time than I thought. It's too irresponsible to just scratch out lines of words without much of consideration for my readers. I found that I would think about what I would write for the next day a lot recently.
But the good part that I love is, this activity has forced me to think more, read more and often tried to figure out the deeper meanings of world around me. And sometimes good ideas would pop up from my thoughts. Maybe this helped stimulating what we are all hoping for, the creative thinking?
I am a marathon runner and a triathlete. One experience in running a marathon is, whenever it's getting tough during your run, you always try to find a reason to quit. And you persevere by beating those thoughts! Writing any books is like running a tough marathon. So, you've got my point.
Anyway, I'm sticking to my plan to continue with my writing. It's the process, not the destination that matters to my journey. I would like to see where this would take me. Hopefully, far, far away!
