学习区分观点和背景

1.Some people think that a mother cannot be a good mother and work outside at the same time. Therefore the government should pay those mothers and allow them to look after children at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree.

2.Traffic jam is a problem in many towns and cities. Some people suggest that governments build wider roads in order to solve the problem. Do you agree or disagree?

在写作中，很多同学在写第一个题目时，不会去回应 a mother cannot be a good mother and work outside at the same time部分；写第二个题目时，很多同学又把 traffic jam is a problem in many towns and cities在文章中进行了回应。这两者都是错误的。

解释如下:

1. 雅思题目(此处特指point of view类)由三个部分组成 a. 题目的背景；b. 观点； c. 提问

2. 不是所有的题目都有背景，但是观点和提问必须有。

3. 如何识别观点和背景：在 some people think 之前出现的是背景，之后的是观点。题目问同意不同意，只是针对观点提问，不是针对背景。

而在第一个题目中: a mother cannot be a good mother and work outside at the same time 出现在Some people think 之后，是题目的观点，一定要回应。

可问题没有那么简单

4. 在没有背景的题目中，因为不存在背景与观点的混淆，所以题目经常省略some people think 三个单词，这个时候整个题目都是观点，是要讨论的。也就是说上面题目完整版本其实是: some people think that as well as making money, business also......所以黄色部分是要回应的。有同学可能会问，那为什么这句话不是背景呢？原因是：是背景的话，后面是不会问你同意不同意的，背景就是一个事实。

5. 请注意，背景和观点同时出现的题目，两者之间是必须有 some people think 作为分割的，否则考生无法判断。
