1.1 Neuroscience Seminar: Carl Petersen, "Neural Circuits for Goal-Directed Sensorimotor Transformation"
The goal of the Laboratory of Sensory Processing is to obtain a causal and mechanistic understanding of sensory perception and associative learning at the level of individual neurons and their synaptic interactions within the complex neural circuits of the mammalian brain.
Our experiments investigate tactile sensory perception in the mouse whisker sensorimotor system.
Open Course Cellular Mechanisms of Brain Function
This course aims for a mechanistic description of mammalian brain function at the level of individual nerve cells and their synaptic interactions.
