1.

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

你怎么在这儿？

We’ve landed men on the moon and brought them back;

We’ve sent probes to the sun and beyond;

We split the atom, fly around the earth;

So what can all this be worth, 

If we don’t know why we were born?

把人送上月球又带回来

把探测器射向太阳甚至更远

原子核裂变，环绕地球飞行

若不知人类为何诞生

这一切能值几何

We chop ourselves up into small packets called rich, poor, race, religion and the like;

And miss the common threat that pulsates through life that can plug the hole in the dike. 

把人分割成不同的群体

富人、穷人、种族和宗教

而遗漏了堵塞堤坝漏洞的

贯彻终生的共同威胁

The search for the inner peace is the answer when done in a kind, intrepid, loving way.

Start by taking 20 or 30 minutes each day

Listen to what the best in you has to say.

It’s all there, bad, good and beyond.

For anyone who doesn’t know yet, find the reason you were born.

仁慈、勇敢、充满爱心

求得内心的平静就是答案

首先每天花二三十分钟

倾听自己最好的一面说什么

坏的、好的、其它的，全在这里

为那些不知情者

找出你出生的原因

It’s hard to find someone who isn’t scared of being robbed, losing his love, or his job.

世间少有不怕抢劫、失去爱或丢工作的人

Love spoken about here cannot be lost, though one may be battered, bruised, or killed. 

这里所说的爱不会丢失，

尽管可能挨打、受伤或被杀

That true spirit of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Moshoeshoe I is here with us still.

依然与我们同在的是

亚伯拉罕、摩西、耶稣和莫舒舒一世的真灵

Know that good work is a fulfilling joy, to those diligently pursue.

The limitless treasures of the Universe are awaiting you.

1）亚伯拉罕：基督教《圣经》故事中犹太人的始祖。

2）摩西：基督教《圣经》中传说率领希伯来人摆脱埃及人奴役的领袖，犹太教的教义、法典多出自其手。

4）莫舒舒一世：（1786年—1870年），莱索托王国的创建者以及该国历史上杰出的政治家、外交家、军事家。

HUMILITY

谦逊

It is worthwhile to strive for humility,

Without giving up personal dignity.

Takes courage, insight, the best in man,

To live one’s life and understanding,

That in humility there is strength and service too,

No need to let anyone or anything make a doormat of you.

谦逊值得奉行

无须放弃尊严

谦逊是人性最好的一面

需要勇气与洞察力

过自己的生活，相互理解

谦逊具有力量，利己利人

没有任何人和事让你逆来顺受

Options unlimited, to the clear thinker,

For anyone willing to tinker,

With traditions, isms and accepted truths,

On closer examination some are outright uncouth.

Anyone and anything really worthwhile,

Should be open to question of style,

All the while moving in humility, with dignity.

思路清晰的人，选项无限

对于愿意修修补补的人

传统、主义和公理

仔细一看，有的人确实很粗鲁

任何可敬的人和有价值的事

都应该对风格问题开放

同时保持谦逊和尊严
