1.

HAND IN HAND

Love will take us higher

Right up the blue sky

Where the stars, the moon and the sun are

Where the air blows peacefully

Together we’ll reach the sky

We can conquer when we are two

Jealousy can’t help us win

It will only block our way up

Hand in hand we can make it

Without any trouble to fear

Unity will build us

Pride ain’t gonna help

Cruelty and jealousy we can make it

Destroying the bright future we are facing

Let’s live for nothing but oneness

Love is the only solution

It will bind us forever and ever

一）手拉手

爱情带我们高飞

直上蓝天

那儿有群星月亮和太阳

更有和风吹拂

我们将一起飞向天空

两人携手定能战胜

嫉妒不会帮忙

只能阻挡前进

手拉手就能成功

不要害怕与担心

团结使我们屹立

骄傲无济于事

若有残忍和猜疑

会毁掉光明前程

让我们只为合一而活

相亲相爱是唯一出路

团结一致永不分离

IN NEED OF HELP

It’s too hard to see

Darkness has covered my eyes

It’s hard to find the way

For I try to walk and I fall down

I cry but there’s no one to help

Courage helps me to go on

But the way is too slippery

Stairs are too high to climb

And it’s hard to reach the top

I’m lost on an island

The land is too far to reach

I’m surrounded by the mighty ocean

No boat, no ship to see

But only the threatening ocean

Ever since I came into this predicament

Tears had fallen like rain

Courage is striking hard inside

And it’s burning like unquenchable fire

二）需要帮助

很难看清

黑暗蒙住眼睛

很难找路

伸脚摔倒了

呼喊无人助

勇气鼓舞我前行

道路太滑

坡陡爬不上

抵达顶端难上难

迷失孤岛

陆遥地远够不着

HE’S GONE FOR EVER

He was like the spring of life

Where all go to quench their thirst

He was the love of us all

And indeed we love him

His music brought us peace and joy

For it was like cool, cool water

He was the man of action

And the talk was all about him

His death left us in agony

It struck our hearts like terrible pain

For we still needed him

We miserably cried and wept

For we lost our first love

There are no words of comforts to say

For we’ll never see him again

God had taken him back home

For he was not of this terrible world

三）一去不回

他像生命之泉

处处替人解渴

他是众人挚爱

我们的确爱他

他的歌声带来平静与欢乐

犹如甘露清泉

他是实干家

无人不晓有口皆碑

他死我们悲恸

疼痛可怕击心

他不可或缺

初失挚爱之人

我们痛哭流泪

没有安慰话说

与他阴阳相隔

上帝将他带回

离此可怕世界

4.

MISERY IN AFRICA

The land is full of blood and brutality

The life of man is in agony

Guns and bombs are threatening

And death swallowed the souls of many

No more peace and tranquility

No more rain and no more clouds

The land is bringing forth no more

And it’s lying bare under the hot sun

Rivers and streams are hissing no more

Springs and wells have dried away

All are dying due to thirst

For there’s no water to drink

Mother and child are crying

The calabashes are no more full

The kraals are now empty

There’s no more warmth at home

For there’s nothing more to eat

四）苦难的非洲

这片土地满是血腥和暴行

生命在痛苦挣扎中

枪炮和炸弹威胁着

死亡吞噬了许多人的灵魂

不再有平静安宁

不再有雨和云

土地不再开花结果

赤裸裸躺在烈日中

大河小溪无声息

泉源水井皆干涸

一切生命濒渴死

只因无水可饮

母亲孩子哭泣

村庄空荡无人

家庭不再温馨

只因食物全无

I SEE THE ARMY (WAR THREATENS)

The city is covered with dark smoke

Danger signs are everywhere

The rope of life is getting shorter and shorter

And no one trusts another

I see the army coming

No sign of peace at all

Machine guns are roaring everywhere

And everyone runs for shelter

Bombs explode and destroy

The gun roars and kills

And misery rules in the hearts of men

Darkness has covered the world

Jealousy and hatred rule

Love has gone to some remote planet

And loneliness is hard to bear

No hope for reconciliation

For the mighty giants had fallen down

No hope for the bright future

For there’s no one to guide younger generation

The whole world is trapped in burning fire

And everyone cries for the saviour

五）我看军队

城里硝烟滚滚

危险迹象处处

生命之线越来越短

不再相互信任

我看见军队来了

毫无和平迹象

机枪到处轰鸣

人人逃跑躲藏

炸弹爆炸摧毁一切

枪炮咆哮着杀伤

痛苦主宰着人们的心灵

黑暗笼罩世界

嫉妒仇恨横行

爱心远走他星

寂寞难以忍受

和解已无望

巨人倒下

光明前途化乌有

无人指引年轻一代

世界跌入熊熊烈火

人们呼唤大救星

6.

REST IN PEACE

“Rest in peace, Prince”

The Hero of all nations,

The giant of all giants,

Darling of mother and child,

The champ of all champs.

He’s gone and gone forever,

No more to be seen in the ring,

His soul is knocking on heaven’s door,

And the angels are ready to open the door.

His death touched the hearts of many,

Tears had fallen like rain,

For the prince had gone, gone and gone.

His feet will never touch the ground again,

His fists will never hit and punch,

For he’s no more of this world.

Happy are those who are with him,

For they will rejoice together in heaven.

The angels are singing and clapping,

For the prince has reached paradise.

We thank you for all you have done,

We pray for your soul to be saved.

Rest in peace the prince,

There will never be anyone like you.

六）安息吧

安息吧，王子

全民族的英雄

巨人中的巨人

母亲和孩子心爱的人

冠军中的冠军

他走了，永远地走了

拳击场再也不见他现身

他的灵魂敲着天堂的门

天使准备好了开门

王子一去动万人

泪雨倾盆

他走了，真的走了

脚不再挨地

拳不再搏击

他不再属于这个世界

与他同在的人是幸福的

他们在天堂同乐

天使们拍手歌唱

欢迎王子驾临天堂

你的所作所为我们心存感激

我们祈祷你的灵魂得救
