二、“name”的相关表达
sth. is sb’s middle name，指某某个性或者品质是某某的特点
go by the name of sth.，或者under the name of…指“自称自己是…（一般是指假名）
三、“join”的相关表达
Join the club，表示某人对你说他现在的境遇不妙的时候，恰好你也是一样，通常我们会说“一样倒霉啊，彼此彼此啊”。
【扩展】club也可以表示扑克牌的梅花，如the queen of clubs，梅花Q。其他的花色有：黑桃spade，红桃heart，方块diamonds，大小王joker。

join the ranks (of)…表示“加入……行列”之中。

join hands本意是“手拉手”的意思，引申就是“携手、一起做某事”的意思。
四、“down”的相关表达
The computer is down. 电脑坏了，电脑崩溃了，电脑没法用了。
down可以作为形容词，表示“网络、系统、电脑坏了或者崩溃了”之意。
The killer is down. 在外国电影和电视剧经常听到，sb. is down，某某人倒下了，某某人被干掉了。

【扩展】还有一种羽绒服叫puffer jacket，两者几乎可以互用，但是一般来说down jacket比puffer jacket暖和一点，适合户外运动，puffer jacket讲究时尚一点，出门逛个家吃个饭简单地保护一下自己，如果要想保暖买down jacket或者down coat。带帽子的羽绒服，hooded down jacket。

down这里做动词，表示”一口气喝下，一口气吃完“的意思。class reunion，就是我们常说的毕业后的同学聚会。
