一、“表示赶快，时间很紧等。”

get cracking：迅速开始吧

cracking ['krækɪŋ]：重大的；敏捷的；出色的

get a move on：赶快

shake a leg：抓紧时间

Chop-chop!：快点！（感叹词）

pressed for time 时间太紧张

be on a tight schedule 时间紧迫

I must fly  “我得赶紧走了，不能在这里多待了”

二、“关于done的小知识”

1 . No sooner said than done中有一个实用的短语：no sooner…than…，表示“刚……就；一……就”，那么这个俚语的直译是“刚说出口就做完了”，引申意思就是”立刻办，说干就干，没问题“。

2 . be/have done with，表示“做完了……事情”或者“用完了……东西”。

例如：Are you done with the computer?

你用完了电脑吗？

3 . done表示“（饭、菜）熟了、做好了”之意。

A：Is the meat done？

A：肉熟了吗？

B：Well done.

B：熟了，熟烂了。

三、“关于line的小知识”

1. My dad‘s face is covered with fine lines.

line，“皱纹”；fine，“细细的”。

2. crow’s feet，鱼尾纹。

3. I would like to put my life on the line for you.

be on the line，处在危险中，有危险了。

4. Line the cup with a piece of paper.

line指“拿……垫一下或者铺一下”。

5. line up，“排队”。
