Today is the winter solstice.
There is a saying that the winter solstice is greater than the spring festival.
But I don't have such feeling. At least we don't spend days to prepare for the winter solstice and we don't give red bag lucky money to children.

Father-in-law and brother-in-law were making a kind of special jiaozi.
I didn't join them to make jiaozi because I had to take care of my baby daughter.
When they were making jiaozi, I went out with my baby to buy some paper diapers for her.
I saw some on sale and the sale woman told me that they were near the limit time in April 2019. But is was much cheap and at the price of 15 a bag or 40 yuan for three bags, altogether 72 pieces. So I spent 40 yuan and bought three bags.
I also bought a jaket at the price of 25 yuan.
After eating several jiaozis, I went upstairs to the fifth floor where we live to pack some winter clothes.
I heard that it will become very cold two days later. I packed several thick clothes and took them to school.
