逻辑关系是指事物内在的、必然的联系，包括时间先后的关系，因果关系等。

时间先后的关系主要是指前后的句子是以时间的先后顺序来说明的。举例如下：

2015 （全国卷II）

During the first week, do not think about distance ,but run five minutes longer each day.________ , it is wise to take a day off to rest.

A. After six days.

答案解析：根据空格后“空出一天的休息是明智之举”可知，在第一周时，要留出一天的休息时间，六天用来跑步，与A选项“六天之后”意义一致，符合语境。故选择A。

2013 北京卷

The first city was probably founded no more than 5500 years ago._____. In fact ,nearly everyone lived on farms or in tiny rural villages.

E. But even 200 years ago, only a few people could live in cities.

答案解析：根据空格前面的“The first city was probably founded no more than 5500 years ago”即5500年前可能j建立第一座城市，E选项意为：但是即使是200年前，也仅有少数人住在城市，E符合语境。故选择E。

因果关系：主要是指前后的句子有着原因和结果的关系，这种关系往往说明前因后果或者是前果后因等情况，表因果关系的词有：as a result 结果....，so /therefore/thus因此，so(such)...that 如此...以至于等。

2013 （全国卷II）

Your brain is so full of what you’re going to be talking about . ______.

G. So trying to force a whole set of rules into it will just make things worse.

答案解析：空前指出“你的大脑装满了要谈的内容”，所以G选项“试图强行塞入一整套规则只会使情况更糟”，符合语境。故选择G。
