Good news surrounding the coronavirus scare as it is learned Chinese movie theaters may open up at the end of the month. A 4K restoration of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone will be released in the 3D format in China soon, Warner Brothers said on Weibo on Mar.19. The release date has yet to be announced.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the film of the first book in the Harry Potter series and was released in 2001. It was directed by Chris Columbus, who also directed the first sequel.
