enshrined: if something such as an idea or a right is enshrined in something such as a constitution or law, it is protected by it
中文翻译差不多就是珍藏，把...庄严地载入
表达：在...上，这种区别蕴藏在：In...,the difference is enshrined in...
But unfortunately we are seldom very good at perceiving what motives happened to be involved in the incidents that frustrate us.
但是不幸的是，我们不善于感受那些让我们恼怒的事情的动机。
perceive：1. To notice/become aware of something 察觉到，意识到
2. To understand/think of somebody or something in particular way认为
你们觉得文章中perceive是哪个意思呢？
We see intention where there was none and escalate and confront when no strenuous or agitated responses are in fact warranted.
我们假想出敌意，并逐步夸大和对峙。而所有的紧张和焦虑的反应都是毫无实据的。
escalate：逐步扩大
confront： to face somebody that they cannot avoid seeing and hearing you, especially in an unfriendly or dangerous situation 面对，对峙
strenuous：费力的，艰苦的 -----n. strenuousity费力，艰辛
agitated：焦虑的，激动的 -----v. agitate鼓动，煽动，激怒
Part of reason why we jump so readily to dark inclusions and see plots to insult and harm us is a rather poignant psychological phenomenon: self-hatred.
我们为什么会如此轻易地得出阴暗猜测，看到侮辱和伤害我们的阴谋，部分原因是源自于一个相当心酸的心理学现象：自我憎恶。
plot这里不是情节的意思，而是阴谋的意思
poignant：伤心至极的; 辛酸的, 痛切的
hatred：仇恨，敌意，憎恶这里的self-hatred是个合成词，self是自己的意思，类似的还有self-esteem（自尊），self-abandonment（自暴自弃），self learning（自学）
The less we like ourselves, the more we appear in our own eyes as really rather plausible targets for mockery and harm.
我们越不喜欢自己，在我们眼中，我们就越是那个理所当然的嘲讽和受伤害的对象。
plausible：reasonable and likely to be true有道理的，貌似真实的
Because there is, logically enough, a plot against us. Because we are appropriate targets for these kinds of things. Because we are the sort of people against whom disruptive drilling is legitimately likely to be directed.
逻辑充分说明，因为有针对我们的阴谋。因为我们是被针对的目标。因为我们就应该被针对。因为我们被伤害是天经地义的事情。
这句话其实有结合演讲里头的上文。如果单独看这句话可能会觉得drilling很奇怪或者以为这是一个固定搭配。其实不是的， 只是上文应用了一个drilling的例子
When we carriage a background excess of self-disgust around with us. We will constantly seek confirmation from the wider world that we really are the worthless people we take ourselves to be.
当我们背着自我厌弃的态度，我们讲不断地从外部世界寻找我们是所认为的无用之人的证据。
If we could resort to some the unflustered poised we naturally use around children.
如果我们可以采取我们本能对待孩子的泰然自若。
fluster使慌忙，使紧张 ------un表示否定 --unfluster不慌乱
poised：having a calm and confident manner and in control of your feellings and behaviour
The calming thought is to imagine that they are suffering off stage in some area we can't see.
冷静的思考方式是猜测他们正遭受了我们所不了解的痛苦
To be maure is to learn to imagine this zone of pain, to move from anger to pity.
想要成熟就要能够想象这种痛苦，能够做到以得抱怨
move from anger to pity 以德报怨
总结
其实这篇演讲的核心概念是吸引力法则—我们相信什么就会成为什么。篇章中作者给出了一个让我们保持冷静的方法，就是用一个正面的仁慈的视角去看待说遇到的问题，就像是我们对待婴儿一样。
我觉得这个方法还是很值得我们学习的，当然大家也别忘了一并学一些有用的表达
