内特不喜欢情人节，所以也不喜欢这种类型的案子，但是他喜欢他的狗啊，所以还是接下了这个案子，这就是所谓"love me ,love my dog".

后一个短语之前出现在初二的课文中，要不都不认识。

这句话如果用中文来表达，就简单很多，直接说东翻西找就可以了。

be in a hurry to do sth =can't help to doing sth.

as...as是和什么一样，当想表达是什么是什么几倍怎么样的时候，倍数放前面。
08I had gotten a valentine after all!
内特很惊讶，居然有人送他情人节礼物，可是他很恐慌，他还没有准备好接送蒙德喜欢他这个事。
09I had to take this valentine off my door!
人在恐慌或者情绪激动的情况下容易做出错误决定，比如内特居然为了让风吹跑礼物再进屋，就先待在泥的狗屋里。

情人节又叫圣瓦伦丁节或圣华伦泰节，即每年的2月14日，是西方的传统节日之一。这是一个关于爱、浪漫以及花、巧克力、贺卡的节日。男女在这一天互送礼物用以表达爱意或友好。
