A happy family event

In the past several years, I never had any happy family event until I became a Christian. Before this year, when I returned to Sichuan hometown from Huizhou, I had no any choice but to cry every time. Now I think of everything, I felt my family members were fill with more troubles granted by devils. My parents often suffered each other by speaking tough talking. I seldom felt what love was in my family and I doubted that my parents never loved me. They never cared my feeling and I only heard the constant quarrelling from them. When my parents quarreled, I was also accused by them. I often didn’t know how to do. I love them but I didn’t have any ability to deal with their relationship. To own a happy family relationship, I often went to the temple to fall to worship some idols. I spent a lot of money to give the idols, but they never work to me. Sometimes, facing my family conflicts, even I tried to end my life…

Last May, I got an occasional opportunity to know the Lord of Christ by attending English corner. Before I was saved by the Lord, I often saw other Christians’ devout hearts. I always imagined whether God existed and thought that believing religion was only a belief and there was no God existed in the world. At the end of September of last year, I also became a Christian and experienced the Lord’s salvation. In the past six months, I always prayed for my parents’ relationship. After I became a Christian about one month, my parents’ relationship made up, which was my biggest wish during my life. I knew that the Lord had responded my prayer. So, in the spring festival of 2019, I also enjoyed a happy family reunion with my parents.

The day of Spring Festival of this year was the most happiness day for my family in history. My parents and I prepared for various food together. My mother made some fried food per my hometown’s tradition. My father also washed some vegetables together with me and gave me a hand, when I cooked the new year reunion lunch. I enjoyed the feeling and I’d never experienced it until this spring festival...

For having more family events in the future, when I came back to Huizhou for working, I learned the Holy bible book harder than before and prayed with my whole heart every day. I desire I have a happy family and my parents have a happy life in their older years.
