《Bad Blood》

At the beginning, I thought this is a book which introduce some hidden trouble of Silicon Valley startups or bad mouth Silicon Valley. Obviously, I didn't read the title carefully.

After open the book, I was attracted by the story the author tells. A woman who is beautiful, charming, aim-focused, and smart built a bubble dream for her employees, her investors and herself. Her idol is Steve Jobs. She wants to be the second one.

This dream was so beautiful that she trapped deeply into this illusion. The bubble cut her off from the reality. Anyone who intended to pop the bubble was get hurt.

Her original goal was very good. And thanks to that goal, she attracted top guys in Silicon Valley to joined in her and worked hard to make the dream come true. But every effort they made turned to be for a lie.

Can we say the young woman is a bad person? Yes. She violated the morality. But beyond it, my feeling is complicated. She's immature. She made wrong choice on some key points. She's smart. She knows what she wants and who can help her. She's from a well-educated family. The characters which help her succeed in past also push her into the abyss.

I wish the project she is doing success. Because that will be a great process of human being. But the one who would make it come true won't be her. Because she is not pure.

An intelligent person becomes an evil. I can't simply make an adjudgment on her. Just wonder where the problems come.
