前几天，在澳大利亚认识的一个外国朋友通给我打电话，我们说了近40分钟，但由于我的英语学习中断三个月，听力明显退步了，只能听懂个三分之一。我就告诉对方，我们用邮件写信，好处就是微信可以翻译（中英文自由切换）。
首先在进入微信，点击“我”，选择设置——选择通用——选择多语言——选择English，并保存。
选择聊天界面，发送中文，并长按信息，再弹出的框中选择Translate。发送的消息就可以转换成英文的了。
我按着这个步骤操作，真棒。一下是信的内容及翻译：
Hi Wang Qin,
I'm glad you emailed me. I was talking to your daughter yesterday about you and the letter. I'm gratified that you are punctual and do what you say. So , thank you very much. Should I call you Aunt Qin or what should I say ? In our culture, we don't talk to our elder by calling their name, so I want to know about Chinese Culture.
About border opening on January, its not confirmed yet but it seems international students will be allowed first to enter into Australia which might be next year but could be January or February no clue.
Please don't be embarrassed that you couldn't talk to me in english properly, it's just a language you can learn it very well.
I want to come to China after 2 to 3 years to meet your whole family and also travel around China. Till then hope you and Ruizi teach me Chinese language so that i can atleast speak broken mandarin haha.
DARWIN is very safe in terms of virus, we don't even wear a mask when we go out of home. Life is pretty normalhere. There is no any active case of virus currently in the Northern Territory.

我是这么想的，有微信翻译很好，但自己学会更好。所以，每天还是要学习一点，每天进步一点点。
