本单元的话题是Movies and Theatre,属于娱乐性话题,和上一单元的科学知识相比较,学生显然很感兴趣,课堂表现积极踊跃,轻松愉悦。
在前两课Danny, Jenny和 Brian学习了有关电影的历史,以及如何拍一部电影,介绍了各自喜欢的电影类型之后,今天课文所呈现的的主要是内容是Danny, Jenny, Brian和Kim分工拍摄和表演《The fisherman and the goldfish》这个童话故事。
本节课所呈现的是故事的第一部分,分为两个场景。Scene One:On the sea(在海边)和Scene Two:The old house(旧房子)。内容较简单,语言知识点不多,基于此,我的教学环节如下:
一、Revision(复习导入)
T: What do you think is needed to make a movie or a play?
Ss: A good script, a good director, someone who can take care of costumes, sound, music...
T:Yes,perfect. Today Danny with his freinds will divide up the tasks to play a story, its name is ~The fisherman and the goldfish.
(意图:复习激活旧知,导入新授)
二、Teach the new words(词汇输入)
Show some sentences, let Ss try to fill in the blanks by new words.
(意图:词不离句,句不离段,将词汇教学置入句子中,让学生尝试运用,便于理解记忆)
三、Listening practice(听力输入)
What did the fisherman's wife want the fisherman to ask the goldfish for ?
(意图:听力能力训练,初步了解渔夫妻子的贪心)
四、Reading practice(阅读理解)
First reading: Read in silence, understand the passage correctly.
Second reading:Read in roles, Feel the mood of the characters.
Third reading: Follow the tape.
(意图:三种不同形式的读,有不同的目的,由浅层知识的理解,到角色体会不同人物的特点,再到跟录音读,在理解文本的基础上学习语音语调。)
五、Play in a role(内化输出)
1.Divide Ss in to 7groups,try to act out this story.
2.Show their plays in front of the class.
(意图: 分小组表演这个童话故事,寓教于乐,寓教育于表演,在轻松快乐中体会不同人物的特征,感受渔夫妻子的霸道与贪心,学习渔夫的善良。)
在展示环节,各小组都跃跃欲试,甚至还加入了表情与动作渲染人物。课堂气氛异常浓郁,同学们都认真听、看,自发地为表演出色的同学鼓掌。我想这才是最自然的生成、最自然的评价。同时,在听和看的过程中,对文本内容及背后所隐含的人物品质也有了更深入的学习与理解。
