可控硅整流管可以看成是一个可控的二极管。它与三极管很像也有3个管脚,对应电路符号中的3个引脚——门控(G)、阳极(A)、阴极(K)。

双向可控硅分成了两端双向可控硅(diac)和三端双向可控硅(triac)两种,它们都可以双向导通。

三端双向可控硅实际上是一个带有门控的两端双向可控硅,如果有能使器件导通的G极电流IG时,三端双向可控硅就可以导通。
