L1-(2): A Puma at large
Wherever it went, it left behind it a trail of dead deer and small animals like rabbits. Paw prints were seen in a number of places and puma fur was found clinging to bushes. Several people complained of 'cat-like noises' at night and a businessman on a fishing trip saw the puma up a tree. The experts were now fully convinced that the animal was a puma, but where had it come from ? As no pumas had been reported missing from any zoo in the country, this one must have been in the possession of a private collector and somehow managed to escape. The hunt went on for several weeks, but the puma was not caught. It is disturbing to think that a dangerous wild animal is still at large in the quiet countryside.

练习感悟:
相比昨天,今天有一点适应朗读速度了,可能是课文简单的缘故。但是在听原音朗读时,还是得放慢到0.8倍速才能听清楚。(看到群里同学的介绍,下载了缤纷英语,听不清的单词可以调节倍速,觉得很好用。)有很多词在正常语速下反复听都听不清楚发音,记得S早读说过,自己发不出的音就听不清,听不出的音就发不出,如此循环。突破口是要实实在在地弄清楚每一个音的读法,心里要清楚,并且持续练习才能有听力的进步。所以,还是因为并不是真的弄明白了每一个发音吧,还是存在许多问题的,不要大意。要在自我审视中继续发现问题,一点点改进。
