《论语》学而篇（十四）

【原文】子曰：“君子食无求饱，居无求安，敏于事而慎于言，就有道而正焉，可谓好学也已。”

【英译文】The Master said, "He who aims to be a man of complete virtue in his food does not seek to gratify his appetite, nor in his dwelling place does he seek the appliances of ease; he is earnest in what he is doing, and careful in his speech; he frequents the company of men of principle that he may be rectified:-such a person may be said indeed to love to learn."

【白话文】孔子说：“君子，饮食不求饱足，居住不要求舒适，对工作勤劳敏捷，说话却小心谨慎，到有道的人那里去匡正自己，这样可以说是好学了。”

【个人感悟】 我们受到的都是经济基础决定上层建筑，而儒家追求的反而是精神上是第一的，今天做事情先考虑的是回报，无利不起早，孔子的好学反而要求人们是更高的，次序是主要的。耶稣说你们要先求他的国和他的义。这些东西都要加给你们了。【太6:33】
