Summary:
In this chapter, the relationship between Trevor and his mom was like a cop and a criminal in the movies. Little Trevor was endlessly fascinated by fire and knives, especially fireworks. His eyebrows and the front inch or so of his hair were burned off when creating massive firework, through which his mom caught him telling a lie. His mom denied that she was Trevor's mom so that Trevor couldn't buy toffee apple. By the time Trevor was seven or eight, too smart to be tricked, his mom started writing letters to rein Trevor in. However, Trevor didn't get into trouble with my mom when he was expelled by Catholic school and fired the white family's house. And Trevor inherited from his mother: her ability to forget the pain in life.
Thought:
It’s better to take it, spend some time crying, then wake up the next day and move on.
