We Are All Fighters

(2020年3月，来自深圳的美女学霸刘洁录制了《We Are All Fighters（我们都是战士）》抗疫英文励志演讲视频，全网爆红。当时我改写了这段演讲，给在家里上网课的高三同学们学习。现在又要放寒假了，推荐给大家一起励志共读！)

We are facing a dark time right now.

我们正面临着一个黑暗时刻。

We are stuck at home.                       

我们不得不禁足在家。

We can’t go back to school.             

我们无法回到学校。

But we are still working hard day by day.但我们仍然日日坚守, 努力学习。

This is a war                                       

这是一场战争， 

without guns, bombs or smoke. 

没有枪、没有炮、没有硝烟。

But we all shall be fighters, my dear fellows!         

但我们都是战士，我亲爱的同学们！

Not just should the doctors, nurses,

不仅仅是医生、护士、 

policemen and scientists fight,

警察和科学家要战斗， 

But all of us should be the fighters in this war.

我们都应该成为这场战争中的战士。

This is going to be a fierce and cruel war这将是一场激烈严酷的战争

But don’t be afraid,                            

但是不要害怕，

We’re going to win in the end! 

我们终将取得胜利! 

We shall fight together

我们共同抗争， 

We just keep fighting                         

我们坚持战斗，   

And we will definitely win the war this time.  这次战争, 我们一定会赢。

Because we are all fighters!   

因为我们都是战士！

We as a brave nation,                        

我们是一个勇敢的民族，

have the spirit and determination to win. 我们拥有必胜的精神和决心。

We’ve been though much crueler trials. 我们经历过更加残酷的考验。

And only by going through dark times  而只有经历黑暗时刻，         

can we make ourselves greater men than ever.我们才能成为更伟岸的人。

When all of this is over,                   

当所有这一切结束，                       

we’ve stood back up on our feet,     

当我们重新站起, 

We’ll pass this great spirit on,         

我们会将这种伟大精神代代相传，

and keep it alive forever!                 

永世长存！
