Chapter 1(Part2)
️ Meanwhile, our credit cards are **maxed out**.
️ You will see every adversity as an injustice, every change as a failure, every inconvenience as a personal **slight**, every disagreement as a betrayal.
He felt slighted.
️ a calm that **weathers** all storms.
例如经济学人就长用到weather the crisis, weather downturns, weather high unemployment.
️ people who are indifferent are **lame** and scared. They’re couch potatoes and Internet **trolls**.
Internet trolls.
️ Her pension is** on its last legs**.
This relationship is on its last legs.
️ This is a total mind-fuck. So I'll give you a minute to unpretzel your brain and maybe read that again.
️ first-world problems
️ And like the road not taken, it was the fucks not given that made all the difference.
The Road Not Taken。Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
