Invention must be attached great importance to, as it contributes tremendously to the advancement of out society. There are many examples that can be cited to illustrate this fact, among which the most epoch-making one must be the invention of electric filament. If Edison hadn't invented it, we would never have lived such an extended life not only in the night but also in the day time.
Given that invention plays such an essential role in our life, we should take plenty of measures to cultivate this precious spirit. For one thing, it is advisable for the social media and relevant departments to vigorously inform the public of the importance of invention. For another, the authorities concerned should set up favorable regulations and rewards to encourage invention.
