Write a composition on the topic To Compete or to Cooperate with the suggestions as follows:
Some people think children should learn to compete, but others think that children should be taught to cooperate. Express some reasons of both views and give your own opinion.

To Compete or to Cooperate
There are all kinds of competition in the society. When it comes to parenting, some parents think they should teach children how to compete in order to raise stereotypically successful kids. Children compete when they play games; they try to get ahead of others in their study; there is constant competition for jobs, fame, wealth and so forth. Sometimes the competition is more likely to lead children to a wrong way. They tend to have conflicted feelings about cooperation.
However, in many cases, competition goes hand in hand with cooperation. Parents should not tiptoe around the issue in their parenting model. Competition has much to do with cooperation. Take a football game for example. During the game, one team is competing against the other, but each member of the team must cooperate with his teammates. Otherwise, they would lose the game no matter how skillful each individual player might be.
Parents should foster the idea that competition and cooperation are not in opposition to each other.
Cooperation is as important as competition. Therefore, learning how to combine competition and cooperation will produce a virtuous circle both in children’s academic activities and extracurricular activities. （193 words）
