    Gem of the week!

HOW TO AVOID THE DREADED irRegulaR VERBS...AND SPEAK LIKE ANY NATIVE!

    Fly   flew   flown

    Fly today

    Flew yesterday

    ...have flown often

In daily spoken English, most native people use a simple formula to skip the irregular verbs. Like the one above. ( They have trouble remembering them, too!....hehe...)

They use the first form of any verb like this:

    " I've been flying often!"

Have been & Verb & ing

I've been walking by the river.

    They've been drawing a tree.

In most cases it works very well to express what you want to say.

There are times when it's better to use the  actual second form of the verb, like here:

    He drew a line!

A symbolic meaning ( idiom ). As in " He stopped the (excessive spending)!"

So, you can use the verb in its easy, first form most of the time in spoken, daily talk...just remember:

    have/has been    &

    verb                       &

    ing

    Work hard, but...

    Have fun !
