When I am puzzled, I choose to r

Last night I woke up suddenly around 3 o’clock because of the wind. I was so cold but I didn’t want to close the window. I met with a difficult choice and need to think of it clearly. When I got up this morning, I thought I should read some books to calm down. Therefore I picked up The Story of Philosophy and listened to Xiapeng’s explanation.

Socratic method: this demand for accurate definitions, and clear thinking, and exact analysis.

Socrates asks people:

What do you mean by these abstract words with which you so easily settle the problems of life and death? What do you mean by honor, virtue, morality, patriotism? What do you mean by yourself?

I was obesessed with life problems and wanted to have a clear solution to everything, just like Socrates. But I was not wise enough to find them nor definite to execute them. I can’t stop thinking.

Objected that he asked more than he answered, and left men’s minds more confused than before.

Why can’t you give me a clear definition, Socrates? Just as Muxin said:

为什么大家着急听观点？图方便。

我的观点，有的可发表，有的只能讲讲，有的，必得死后才可以发表。

什么时候能用这些观点呢？有马以后。

先无马，后有马，后千里马，后脱缰——可以用我的观点了。

画家，音乐家，很直观，更要摆脱观点。

心为世俗的不可见所困，故生忧惧，恐未知，以至于困扰的不能安心做事。做事吧。

正心诚意，阳明兼得。

“阳”，行动的意思；“明”，智慧、见解、立场的意思。
