    1. The Last Test of the Term

I took the last final exam today. It was a practice test of the Test for English Major 8, which is widely known as the TEM8. Anyway, it isn't as interesting as I thought. The time limit is a bit tight for me. I spent too much time on the reading comprehension part, so I haven't got the chance to take a look at the proofreading part, which occupies 10% of the test. However, I didn't sweat about it at all because according to my past practice tests, to the best of my ability, I could get 6 out of 10 right. That's my best shot. Tough I may make some progress during the past month. But I think my chances of getting 9 is still a slim. So, I think today's test will just be one of my normal testing experience that would be totally forgotten in few days...

    2. Becoming a Mom is a Tough Choice

I am not a baby person who loves boisterous babies and full-time energetic children, But if I think I am financially and emotionally ready, I'd have a baby with my better-half. And when I was thinking about all of this, another question just popped right out of my mind.

What if a young girl, let's say 18, is pregnant by accident, but after the test, the doctor concludes that this is the once-in-life chance for the girl to give a birth to her own baby because of some complicated medical reasons that can't be solved right now. What would the girl do? 18-year-old is really a very awkward age at which time most people can't stand on their own feet and are still in the process of stretchering themselves to mature. In addition, she also need to take the baby's father into consideration. Will they be married in the future? Even if this boy is a qualified boyfriend, will he be the best dad in the world? And I believe, under different cultural and social context, there're more distinctive and difficult problems waiting for the mother-to-be to figure out. No matter what the settings are, this is the SOLE chance for this girl to have a child who shares the same bloodline with her. If you were her, what decision would you make?

I want to ask this question to everyone I meet in the following days. I bet there would be a lot of intriguing answers come out. Maybe then I could organize them and put all of them online. That would be a very interesting and attractive thing to do.

    3. Instead of Pushing Your Luck, Push Yourself a tad.

I think this is a very common problem that could happen to every writer without a shred of doubt-you have no idea what you can write about. The spring of thoughts just dried out in the face of you. I don't think that I'm now qualified to refer myself as a writer. I'm just a 22-year-old lesbian who loves typing her thoughts out every day and try to do this out of the force of habit rather than out of other purposes, being it writing to show off, finishing the school work, and aiming for a better band in TOEFL or ELLIS which are just, I strongly believe, the natural benefits from stick to doing so. However, I shares this problem with writers as well. In order to solve this one, I read some writing guidance from the Public Wechat Account. And I think one of the methods is really effective and easy-don't stop writing, just write down whatever's in your mind now and after a few lines, you'd get the right feeling and your spring back most of the time.

I've tried it several times and it worked perfectly. On most occasions, I'd start the first sentences in a very unnatural and struggling way, but after a few minutes, my mind seemed to get on the right track and was replenished with high-level oil. Every word just worked itself out. I think the secrete embodied in this is trying to evict yourself out of the comfort zone by pushing yourself a tad and get your hands dirty.

The most amazing part of this method is that you can adjust it and apply it to other things, too. You can try to put your hands and your attention on some seemingly tough thing first and then try to polish the matter gradually. You have my word. As long as you start to do it, you can feel the coming success of it and you'll enjoy and have fun with it step by step.

    Have fun and good night.
