The tower of London is actually a complex of several towers and structures, that was built in the latter part of the 11th century as fortress to protect London, the capital city of the British Empire. It soon became notorious for more brutal uses. It served as a prison and place of execution .

The bridge is famous for its bascules, which were steam powered and a marvel of Victorian engineering. It is also still possible to view the engineering room.

China town, one of the places to get authentic Chinese foods in London. This bustling neighbourhood is home to a large Asian community, who gather together for events and activities throughout the year, in particular during London's Chinese New Year celebrations.
The original London Chinatown was in Limehouse, in London’s East End. Chinese employees of the East India Company settled at the docks in the late 19th century and helped to create a Chinese community. However, a decline in shipping and large-scale destruction of the area during the Second World War saw this quarter dwindle by the mid-20th century.

It is also conveniently located close to many galleries particularly the National Portrait Gallery which is located opposite. Trafalgar Square gets its name in commemoration for the Battle of Trafalgar. This was the naval victory by Admiral Nelson in the Napoleonic Wars over France and Spain.
