一、意在笔先，多读提示
在写作文之前我们要先读懂书面表达的内容，判断好写作的体裁，结构，时态和人称。我们一起来看这次八年级期中考试的作文。
动物对人类来说非常重要，但是现在动物越来越少，很多动物处于濒危状态。请你以How to protect animals 为题，写一篇英语短文，谈一谈如何保护动物。
要求：1.文中不要出现学校的校名和师生姓名。
2.词数100左右。
从文字中我们不难看出这篇书面表达属于建议类作文，结构上通常采用的是总分总或者总分写法，在时态上应该用一般现在时，人称自然是第一人称。我们在下笔写之前首先要把给出的材料内容多读几遍，然后再下笔书写。
意在笔先，就是要做到思考在前，动笔在后，只有这样我们才能避免轻易下笔后出现写错写偏的错误。
二、题目入手，写好开头
很多学生在写的时候总是不知道从哪里入笔，找不到思路和方向，其实题目类的书面表达最容易写，那就是从题目入手，找出重点词汇。
从How to protect animals 这个题目中，我们来找key words ， 很明显这里有三个词 how to ; protect ,animals 。我们要从三个方向来阐明动物的重要性，为什么要保护动物，如何去保护动物。
首先是animals 动物，我们要写出what 就是动物的重要性，我们用Animals are very important to us .我们还可以用更高级的句式It’s very important for us to protect animals .接着我们再写why 原因，我们还是用教材上的句子But now they are in danger and the situation is getting very difficult .So we must protect them .最后，我们让重心回归题目上What should we do to protect them ? Here is my advice .
开头的文字就有了
Animals are very important to us .（what） But now they are in danger and the situation is getting very difficult .So we must protect them .(why) What should we do to protect them ? Here is my advice . (how )
三、依托文本，有的放矢
我们必须以教材文本，从实际出发，在教材中我们学到很多关于保护动物的句子 ：
1. we can give money to help protect the animals .
2. The government should set up nature parks with a lot of forests .
3. We mustn’t kill animals and take away their land and forests .
4. We all need to help them live in peace .
在给出建议的时候，我们通常写三个方面，也就是我们常说的“事不过三”，“重要的事情说三遍”，我个人认为写三条就够了。
我们需要在句子前面加上 first , second ,third 但是如何添加是一个值得我们去思考的问题。英语在表达上讲究从小到大，所以我们要添加顺序词的时候也要注意这一点。
First , we can give money to help protect the animals . （个人层面）Second , the government should set up nature parks with a lot of forests .（政府层面）Third ,we mustn’t kill animals and take away their land and forests . We all need to help them live in peace .（社会层面）
四、照应题目，升华感情
一个好的结尾能起到画龙点睛的作用，我们要突出感情，升华感情，让文字更具感召力和感染力。
Remember : Protecting animals is protecting ourselves ！
