这两天又做了一遍Clifton Strenths的测试,然后仔仔细细又学了一下测试附赠的那个20分钟的课程,重温了一下发展自己优势才干的五个Tips:
1.Identify the kinds of activities you are naturally drawn to and determine ways to do more of them.
找到那些您自然而然就喜欢的事情,并找到办法做更多的这些事情。2.Focus on things that you seem to pick up quickly and invest in ways to master them.
专注于您似乎很快上手的事物,并投入到那些可以掌握他们的途径上。3.Rely on the activites that you seem to naturally and automatically know the steps to complet.
依靠那些您似乎自然而然并且自动知道完成步骤的活动。4.Find more ways to incorporate activites that provide moments of unconscious excellence, moments when you thought, "How did I do that?".
找到更多的方法来整合这样的一些活动,这些活动会带给你潜意识里感到卓越的时刻,也就是您会想:“我是怎么做到的?”那个时刻。5.Appreciate the things that give you energy or enjoyment, either while doing them or immediately after finishing them. These are the activites that make you think "When can I do that again?"

1.Does this theme ever undermine my success?

当然,按照「优势理论」,弱点不是用来克服的,而是需要管理的。培训中给出了5个管理弱点的Tips:
Claim Them: Know your weakness and how they get in your way.
承认并面对他们: 了解你的弱点,以及他们是怎样影响你的。Minimize the effect: If you can, avoid working in areas of weakness. If you can't, develop a support system, process or strategy.
