reasons for not being efficient

    During the whole last week, we had online schooling and I felt life had never been busier. 

    I got up before 7 every day, one some days before 6 to do some work and did not go to bed until 10 every night, still I felt not everything was finished by then. 

    I was like a worker bee buzzing and hustling in flowers all the time and did not fly above in the sky to enjoy the view and take a breath. I was drowned in daily routines and chores in an in efficient way.

   The top reason for this inefficiency is that I procrastinate all the time. For example, I did not want to check students' homework, which was a must do for me, so I kept postponing it it until very late. Before bed last night, I had not finish checking the homework on Thursday! I was able to actually find some time to get this job done! This is warning for myself, if something has to be done, do it without hesitation, do not think that you will find some better time to do it. The present is the best time. Otherwise, the job will stay and stink forever. The best way to deal with something you are fearful is to face it directly and boldly.

    The other reason for my low productivity was the lack of planning. I allowed myself to be spontaneous every day, which could be both positive and negative. However, not planning my time in advance makes it less productive. Some of the time, I came up with the idea of taking the kids downstairs or watching a cartoon or organizing the wardrobe, and the time spent on these things sacrificed for more urgent tasks. 

    In short, one piece of advice for myself: stop procrastinate and plan my time carefully. Hope I can be more efficient from today on!
