前言：此文章写于2013年9月，文中的时事背景以当时为参考。
今天两位gentlemen,查尔斯和摩西来办公室取文件，好久没见面于是坐下来聊天。遇到男士，几乎所有的话题都是与政治有关，于是很自然的谈到他们国家肯尼亚最近发生的最悲剧的恐袭事件，现在回想起整个谈话，像是进行了一场高端采访，特此写下以做留念。
Me : I'm so sad for what happened.lt really shocked me when l got the news that the terrorists attacked your westgate shopping mall .I hope your family and realitives are safe and sound .
我 :当知道恐怖分子袭击了你们的西门购物商场时我很震惊，也很痛心。希望家人和亲友们都安然无恙。
Charles :Yes, thanks for concern,they're fine. Everybody was so painful,it happened so fast.You know that was the number one shopping mall in Kenya, so people going there was rich and was the top class of society,they were laughing and talking and enjoying shopping,nobody realised the disaster was coming.
查尔斯：非常感谢你的关心，家人都还好。每个人都很悲痛，西门购物中心是肯尼亚最高档次的购物商场，去那里购物的人都是社会最上层最有钱的人，当他们有说有笑的购物时根本就没有意识到灾难即将来临。
Me :These attackers are from Somali,as far as I know, Somali has been in a no-goverment situation for a long time. Many people make a linving by providing fake bank accounts for neighbor country, smuggling drugs and even robbing the shipping goods .This is a very disordered country, but you are the neighbor with them.
how can you feel safe with them?
我：目前官方已确定恐怖分子来自索马里，就据我所知，索马里长期以来都处于无政府状态，很多人以向邻国提供假冒银行账号，走私毒品，掠夺海运货物为生，这是一个非常混乱的国家，和这样一个国家毗邻，怎么样确保自己独善其身呢？
Moses :we never fight with them, we just keep far and turn a blind eye on their internal affairs,but we defend ourselves,if they come to make trouble, we cant keep quiet.
摩西：我们从来不会和他们惹事，我们和他们保持距离并且对他们国内事情充耳不闻，但是我们会维护自己，如果他们要来找麻烦我们绝不保持沉默。
Me : After this attack, so many people talk about Kenya security force,and blame this is the big reason for being attacked. some people appeal the government to reinforce the security ,what do you think?
我：这次袭击后，很多人谈到肯尼亚的安防措施不到位，认为这是被袭的主要原因，并且呼吁政府加强安保，你如何认为？
Charles :No, this is not security issue, it's a politics issue , religion issue or some other complicated issues.Today they attacked Kenya,tomorrow they may attack US,Uk,Russia or some other countries.
查尔斯：不，这不是关于安保的问题，这是关于政治问题，宗教问题，或者其他非常复杂的问题。今天恐怖分子袭击了肯尼亚明天就有可能袭击美国，英国，俄国或者其他国家，安保做的再好都无济于事。
Me :But they never attack China.
我：但是他们从不袭击中国。
Charles :Yes, China keeps neutral on many international issues, the goverment try to make a safe external environment for it and the people ,of course,I'm not very clear about China politics,but one thing l'm very sure that Chinese goverment is the number one goverment in the world, this is a very safe country ,I feel so good and safe in China.
查尔斯：是的，中国在许多国际问题上都保持中立，政府试图为它和它的人民创造安全的外部环境，当然我不是很了解中国的国情，但有一点我很肯定，中国政府是世界上最好的政府，中国是世界上最安全的国家，我待在中国感觉很好很安全。
Me :so far, from the news, the death toll is up to 69,and more than 1000 hostages have been rescued.From the screen ,people still look very frightened , they were guilded by policemen and crawl out of westgate,some of them are foreigners and children.
我:据报道，截止目前袭击以造成69人丧生，1000多名人质被解救，从新闻画面看人们脸上依旧非常的惊慌恐惧，在警察引导下都是匍匐着撤出商场，其中也不乏许多外国人和小孩。
Moses :Yes, it's very very bad, you know the terrorists attack a country, they don't care how many people died , which country you are from,and how old are you ,their only purpose is to make panic and threaten the goverment that they are there and they're very aggressive.
摩西：是的，非常非常的糟糕，恐怖分子袭击一个国家，他们不会在乎死了多少人，也不在乎你是哪个国家人，也不在乎你是多小的小孩，他们的主要目的就是给政府制造恐慌，向政府示威他们确实存在并且强势无比。
Me :OK, now let's talk about your president Uhuru kenyatta.I watched his speeh, very powerful and very inspiring,I like his words: this is not only Kenya work, it is also the international work.We need to stand together and join hands to fight against terrorism.This is a very tough work but we must be the winner,we dont have alternative.I remember these words very well, I think he is a very good president.
我:好的。我们再来谈一谈你们的总统先生，乌胡鲁.肯雅塔，我看过他在国家遇袭后的演讲，非常有气势也非常鼓舞人心，他说的一句话我记得特别清楚：这不仅是肯尼亚人民的工作也是全世界人民的工作，我们需要站在一起，携手共同打击恐怖势力，我们必须要赢，除此我们别无选择。我觉得他是一个很好的总统。
Charles :Yes, he is very good,we stand behind him.After attack,he ask people, this is not time to cry, to blame,to condemn terrorists, this is time to rescue people, try best to open all hospitals for all injured people,offer food for hostagesand comfort the people who lost their families. This is really a responsible goverment.
查尔斯：是的，他是一个很好的总统，我们都支持他，袭击发生后他号召人们这不是哭泣的时候，也不是抱怨和谴责的时候，而是救人的时候，要尽一切力量开放所有的医院，供给所有人质的食物，安抚失去亲人的家庭。这是一个很付责任的新政府。
Me :I also like him ,I supported him
all alone during the presidential election in March.
我:是的，我也喜欢他,在三月份总统大选的时候我自始至终都支持的他。
Charles : Really?why you support him?
Charles ：是吗？为什么你支持他呢？
Me : l think he is young ,open-minded,especially he is your first president's son,so he can get enough experience from his Father.Although he was accused of creating bloodshed during last election on 2007 by ICC ,but this bad news cant stop people loving him.so l think he must be a hero in Kenya history.
我:我想他相对年轻，思想更开放，尤其他是你们开国元首的儿子，所以我认为他可以从他父亲那里学到一些治国经验。虽然大选期间，国际刑事法庭指控他在2007年大选时制造的流血事件，但是这并没有阻止人民去爱他，所以我想他一定会是肯尼亚史上的英雄。
Moses :Wow, you know so much,how can you get these news?
摩西：喔，你是怎么得到这些消息的？
Me :hehehe, from CCTVNEWS,or BBC or VOA,l like English news.
