由于有许多作者乱用推荐审稿人的事件，期刊编辑开始认为作者需要提供推荐审稿人的原因。
在起草推荐原因时，必须注意以下几点：
期刊让作者推荐审稿人时，他们希望作者推荐能对论文提供客观、建设性批评的相关专家。
不应该只想到论文接受率而推荐审稿人，不要推荐你熟悉的人，因为这些人可能无法给出客观的意见。最好选择哪些可以客观评价论文的人。
不要选择可能跟你的论文有利益冲突的人。你推荐的审稿人应该要会对你的论文有兴趣，同时能提出有效改善论文的建议。
选择推荐审稿人的一个方法是你参考文献中的作者，或是在你的论文中构成最重要的想法的人，因为他们拥有丰富的领域知识。
很可惜我没有办法提供任何模版，但上面几点应该能协助你列出你推荐这些审稿人的原因。

（2） Her/His recent publiscations are related to my study, so she/he will be familiar with and
give fair judgment to my manuscript.
（3） She/He may be proficient in the content that I have written.
（4） An Expert in the related field.
（5） She/He did this very well in the related field.
（6） Expert in related fields of……
（7） She/He does this research field.
（8） Professor/Doctor xxx is famous in this field. We knew that she/he is very severe and
（9） We suggest Professor/Doctor xxx to be reviewer for our manuscript in that she/he has
deep insight into the research on ..... (list his main publication).
（10） Professor/Doctor XXX is an expert on XXX. We have found that she/he has published
several paper on XXX as the corresponding authour or the first author.
