    观课记录之(11)

            今天所观课例是田老师在十三届现代与经典高峰论坛上演绎的一节初中英语听说课。授课主题为 Dumplings .

            Dumplings 这节课的语篇材料源于前几年电视上特别火的一个公益广告改编而成。公益广告中儿子带着老年痴呆的老父亲去饭店和自己的朋友们吃饭。期间,这位老父亲从盘子里抓起两个饺子,然后放入自己的口袋里。儿子在尴尬的情形下问老父亲为什么这样做。老父亲回答说:“我,我,我儿子爱吃饺子。这饺子是给我儿子的。”老年痴呆的老父亲不记得钥匙在哪儿了,出门后都找不到回家的路了,但是,即便如此,他却始终没有忘记自己的儿子喜欢吃饺子,他却始终没有忘记爱着自己的孩子。

              就这么一个公益广告,经过多才的田大师的资源整合与文本创编,然后就有了下面这段语篇材料。

    Dumplings

    Linda:Hey, Tony. What did you doyesterday evening?

    Tony:I watched TV. What about you, Linda?

    Linda:I watched TV, too. I also watched an ad and it was very moving.

    Tony:Really? What was it about?

    Linda:It was about dumplings.

    Tony:Dumplings?

    da:Yes. One day, a son took his father to a restaurant to eat dumplings with hisfriends. You know, his father was getting older and it was very hard for himto remember things. He couldn’t remember his son. He couldn’t find his wayback home. And when they sat at table …

    Tony: What happened?

    Linda: His father suddenly took two dumplings from the plate and put them into hispocket!

    Tony:What? Put the dumplings into his pocket in front of his son’s friends? Oh, no.His son must be very upset.

    Linda:Yes, he was and he asked, “Dad, what are you doing?”

    Tony:What did his father answer?

    Linda:His father said, “My son loves eating dumplings. These are for him.”

    Tony:Oh, What a great father! He couldn’t remember his son but he stillremembered that his son loved eating dumplings!

    田老师的教学过程大至是这样的:

    Step1. Free talk&presentation

    师生互相询问,How old are you?What's your hobby?看似随意问答,实则为后面的学习做铺垫。接着田老师用自己一家三口的照片做成PPT ,让学生围绕提示词对三人的爱好进行猜测,把词汇教学渗透其中。

    Step2.Pre-learning

    田老师运用TPR教学法,把词汇融入其中,学生兴趣盎然,接着又运用Do and Guessing的游戏,带领学生把词汇融入句子中,学生在动一动,猜一猜,说一说,笑一笑中轻松掌握了下面要学的听力材料中的新词汇。他的课让学生深深感受到学习是快乐的,学英语是轻松的,甚至让听课的老师也想坐到课堂成为田老师的学生。

    Step3.Listening&Speaking

    老师第一遍逐句播放听力,让学生试着模仿,第二遍播放听力Open listening activity(开放式听力活动),此环节老师重点渗透了听力策略,1.Listen carefully.2.Make notes.然后学生进行group work&discuss.并抽查学生掌握情况。

    Step4.Consolidation

    该环节对听力材料进一步巩固,也属于Open listening activity.要求进一步提高,Listen,Make notes,Discuss&Share,

    在share环节,学生在老师的一笑一颦,幽默诙谐的启发引导下,大胆表述出了自己对每个问题的ideas.最后学生的齐读也很出彩。

    Step5.Summary

    播放完整的公益广告,感动之中学生谈感受,What do you think of the TV ad?接着老师出示一系列问题更是牵动着学生敏感的神经。What did your parents do for you yesterday?What did you do for your parents yesterday?这哪里是给学生上课呢?简直也是给每一个成年人上了很好的一课!

              整节课没有复杂的课件设计,不用形式多样的操练,简单的课堂也能上的如此精彩,田老师功底深厚,课上的生动自然,表情丰富,风趣幽默,感染力极强!

              听完田老师的课,感觉意尤未尽,原来英语课可以这样上。老师和孩子们的配合真是天衣无缝,课堂上老师幽默风趣的语言和敏锐的教学机智使得这节课更加精彩与生动!虽身不能至,心仍向往之!
