今天所观课例是广东深圳外国语学校杨柳青老师在第十一届全国初中英语课堂教学展示活动中的教学。该课教学主题为:Places to go.这节课体现出了全新的课程理念、独具魅力的教学气质以及良好的课堂教学效果。在专家点评环节中,中国教育学会外语教学专业委员会的教育专家们对这节课给予了高度的评价。
这节课的大至教学过程是这样的:
Lead-in
Present an interesting map in which pictures represent the specific countries and ask students to guess the countries according to the pictures provided.
T: Do you like traveling? Which country is it?(很有趣的一幅地图,一开场就激起了学生极大的兴趣,师生互动热烈。)
Listening
Play the video of Top 10 attractions in Hong Kong. Direct students to mark the correct sightseeing ranking numbers in Hong Kong.
Check the answers and lead the students to read the new words and phrases.
(从一段介绍香港旅游景点前10名的视频,让学生看完后给10个景点编号,并且利用图片教授新单词和词组,组合得非常好。)
Groupwork
Get the students to discuss in groups what the Top3 must-go places are in Qingdao. Ask two students to share their ideas.(从香港到青岛,有了之前的铺垫,学生讨论起来水到渠成。这里,老师如果能够追问why do you think so就能够把前面所学的词组运用进去,这样就更好了)
Listening
Guide the students to listen to a recording of the Top 10 attractions in Hong Kong and fill in the blanks with the missing words.
Jason: Yang is coming to Hong Kong this weekend with her family. Can you help me plan her __________.

Groupwork
Organize the students to make a poster in groups. Show their work in class and invite some of the groups to do a presentation.
创设情境让学生学以致用。本节课主线清晰,运用一个个任务链,从输入到输出,过度自然,层次鲜明。
Homework Writing: Plan a family trip for the winter vacation (around 80 words). Where to go, how to get there, what to do there, how long to stay there.
杨老师在本节课的教学过程中,展示出了自身过硬的专业素质,典雅自然的教态和优美的语音,而且,她还有效地整合了丰富多彩的教学资源,进行了独具匠心的教学设计,是一节非常精彩的初中英语听说课。
说真的,这样的英语课堂,是我们这些乡村教师或县城教师很少见到的,它有我们无法企及的高度,这样的课堂,不仅让我们听课老师享受到了英语的美,更让我们不由感慨:怎样才能上好一节英语课?
1. 学无止境,深入研究英语的教学方法,真正将自己推到一个更“隐蔽”的角落,让学生站在更“亮”的舞台中央,担当好组织者、参与者、欣赏着等多重角色。我们老师更应该放低自己的身份,多“蹲”下来和学生交流,让我们的课堂焕发生命与活力。
2. 注重培养学生英语思维的能力。学生在理解教材之后,我们要帮助学生观察和提取与主题密切相关的具体事实和信息,而后引导他们将这些信息重新组织,完成相关话题的听力、对话、写作练习等活动,从而提高他们的用英语思维的能力。
3.提高教学基本功和驾驭课堂的能力,灵活处理教材,在自己的基础上努力修炼。
