    演讲思路:

point the topic: time managemen and conmon answers about the topic(for example)——draw the conlunsion——arguments1:time diary project——argument2:a sentence from a busy women——what can we get from it?(in a short term & over the long run)——how do we do that?——in summary

    1. point the topic: time management and conmon answers about the topic(for example)

when people find out I write about time management, they assume two things: one is that I'm always on time. And I'm not.(2 examples: blame children for my tardiness, late to the speech) The second thing they assume is that I have lots of tips and tricks for saving time.(1 example) I question the entire  premise of this piece.(3 examples )

    2. draw the conlunsion

But after studying how successful people spend their time and looking at their schedules hour by hour,I think this idea has it completely backward. We don't build the lives we want by saving time, we build the lives we want and then time saves itself.

    3. arguments1:time diary project

    1)who are target population

    2) waht did they do

    3) what did I do (for some special people)

    4) what is the result

    5) conclusion: the key to time management is treating our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater.(topic+idea+referred example)

    4. argument2:a sentence from a busy women

background+"conflict "+result(point the topic and conclusion)+repeat the sentence or come again in another way+explain conlusion by common and simple examples

    5. what can we get from it?(in a short term & over the long run)

    1) in a short term: using this language remaids us that time is a choice

    2) over the long run: we have the power to fill our lives with the things that deserve to be there.

    6. how do we do that?

    explain the question:

how do we want treat our priorities as the equivalent of that broken water heater?

    ways to get the aim

    1) prewrite the review about your work and personal life

    ❤on the professional side:

turn annual performance reviews on the end of year to look forward and write the next year's review:

what 3-5 things would make it a great year for your prefessionally?

    ❤on the personal life side:

    write the family holiday letter:

what 3-5 things would make it a great year for your personally?

    2) you will get a list of 6 to 10 goals we can work on the next year

    3) break them down into do able steps

    this is key:

we treat our priorities as the equivalent of that water heater by putting them in to our schedules first

❤when is the suitable time to do this thing?

Friday afternoon——Friday afternoon is a "low opportunity cost" time

❤ what should we do ?

make a three-category priority list:career, relationship, self, two or three items in each and plan them in the whole week

❤special examples( it always is audiences' question)

describe the special example——how to do?

There are 168 hours in a week.

    24x7=168 hours

except work hours and sleeping eight hours, you will leave at least 42 hours for other things,so you can use your bits of time for bits of joy. Because we don't even need that much time to do amazing things.

    7. in summary

I turly believe this. There is time. Even if we are busy, we have time for what matters. And when we focus on what matters, we can build the lives we want in the time we've got.
