The new era - the pursuit of a b

Every person in every age has his or her own dream. This dream can be as small as having enough food and clothing, and it can also be as big as contributing to the prosperity of the country.

When I was a child, my dream was to be a pleasing daughter of my parents, rather than breaking their heart like a naughty child from someone else's home. When I went to school, my dream was to be an outstanding student, who can receive the praise from the teachers and become the pride of the parents.

But in today's new era, I have a different Chinese dream that I want to make every effort to make society more harmonious and make life better. President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech in March 20, 2018. He said: "The new era belongs to everyone of us, and everyone of us is part of this new era, witnessing, blazing new trails and building this new era. As long as we remain united, work hard together, nothing can stop us from achieving the Chinese dream by the Chinese people." Being able to live in such a good new era and witness our society and life becoming better and better, I feel very happy and satisfied. All the achievements proved that it is correct to adhere to the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.

President Xi Jinping stressed that the Chinese dream we are pursuing is about three things: economic prosperity, national renewal, and happiness of the Chinese people. Now I am a college student living in twenty-first Century. Entering a new era, I will further improve myself and make due contributions to society. As a representative of the English class, I am very willing to do the work assigned by the English teacher, and in the same time, serving the classmates make me feel extremely meaningful. I am fascinated by English, which is not only a language, but also the key to open the door to the world. In English, I can introduce to foreign friends our country full of legendary and unlimited charm. I also want to tell them that we not only have the Great Wall, one of the eight wonders of the world, but also have a new era of great China dream.

"Since ancient times, the Chinese people have realized that in the world there is no such thing as sitting idle and enjoying all the benefits. Happiness comes out of arduous work." President Xi Jinping once said. I come from a remote village, in which villagers work from dawn to dusk. In the spring, the villagers sow in the rice fields, which is the so-called "The whole year's work depends on a good start in spring". In autumn, the fields are golden accompanied by the smiles of the villagers on their faces, that is a symbol of hope and harvest. In the remote village, although life is hard, for them, the harvest is happiness. In today's new era, our country gives more benefits and subsidies to the rural labourers, pays more attention to the life of them and really leads rural people to live a happy life.

Entering the new era, let us pursue a better life together with more longings. I firmly believe that we will eventually realize the great Chinese dream of the new era!
