Being often prepared for God

When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” ---Exodus3:4

When God speaks, we seem to be in a fog without any response. Moses’ reply indicated he stood at a certain position. To be always ready means to be in a proper relationship with God and to know where you stand. We are often eager to tell God where we want to go, but those who are always ready for God’s work receive a reward as soon as the call comes. We always wait for a special moment, a special passion. When this happens, we quickly reply, “I am here.” When Jesus is exalted and lifted, we want to go up with him, but we often do not prepare to take on unknown tasks.

Being prepared for God means that we are willing to do whatever is small or great. We have no choice in our actions. No matter what God’s plan is, we are happy to follow it. Whatever task comes, we hear the voice of God just as our Lord heard the voice of his father. Let us have lively love, ready and ready to go. What the father does to Jesus Christ, and he also hope the Lord can do same things to us. He may send us at will, on pleasant or menial tasks. For we are one with the Lord just as the Father is one with the Lord. “That they may be one, as we are.” A man who is always ready need not be ready any more. Imagine how much time we spend preparing for God’s call.

Be ready for God’s surprise visit. The burning thorn is a symbol that is always ready for the scene. At the presence of God, the burning will be even hotter.

Dear God, people understanding your feeling most may be myself. May your will be done without any hindrance in me and achieve it through me.
