I would love to apply to Hong Kong University because of two reasons.
The first reason why I desire to apply for HKU is that the education HKU provides has high qualifications. According to the QS, it ranks 17th in the world and 2nd in Asia, and of course, the best in Hong Kong, so it is widely known and praised for its high-quality education. Additionally, HKU has hired experts from all over the world as professors, and they are wise and knowledgeable, thus, I am eager to learn from them. In addition, Hong Kong University has exchange student programs regularly, which give students opportunities to have various and rich study experiences. I will receive beneficial instructions and become a better person here; just like the saying on the official website: to become a better person than I was yesterday. Therefore, HKU has a professional, global, and academic atmosphere for learning, and I have dreamed of attending the school since I was a little kid for the aforementioned reasons.
The second reason for my application to Hong Kong University is that I am enthusiastic about learning Humanities and Digital Technology, and it is a unique subject at Hong Kong University. Hong Kong University has a foresight-seeing ability to combine humanities and digital technology so that more pioneered and comprehensive schooling can be offered to learners. I am a creative person who is always attracted by challenges and is eager to obtain multifaceted skills, which I can access by studying HDT, and such combined subjects will become the mainstream in the future from my perspective. What's even more tempting, the subject is so suitable for my hobbies: I love art and humanities since I like interacting with human feelings, and I achieve this goal through literature and music - I write novels, poems, and articles, and post them on social media platforms in my spare time, which helps me acquire hundreds of fans. I create music pieces as well, and I sing and play them out with a piano as I have been playing the piano for over a decade. Furthermore, I have a thirst for learning science, in which digital science plays an important role, and I have Chemistry and Physics for my DSE elective, moreover, I deeply believe that technology can lead human civilization to a better future and I am thrilled to contribute to the society. Accordingly, I am appealing to apply for HDT in HKU.
In summary, I am keen to apply to Hong Kong University because of its high qualifications and the unique as well as charming subject of Humanities and Digital Technology.
