Sudden lightnings kept nesting birds awake
Thunders scared orioles crying in dismay
Stretching his mighty wings an eagle soared
Without effort through the heavy cloud wall
Through layers of rain he flew to heaven
Overlooking many a small mountain
His song cascaded from above to the ground
All the earth his voice resonated around

闪电惊巢鸟，雷霆乱野莺。
鲲鹏双翼展，豪气一身轻。
冲破千重雨，扶摇万里程。
高飞声自远，九地闻清鸣。
