My daughter, Jane, never dreamed of receiving a letter from a girl of her own age in Holland. Last year, we were traveling across the Channel and Jane put a piece of paper with her name and address on it into a bottle. She threw the bottle into the sea. She never thought of it again, but ten months later, she received a letter from a girl in Holland. Both girls write to each other regularly now. However, they have decided to use the post-office. Letters will cost a litt1e more, but they will certainly travel faster.

bottle[ˈbɒtl]瓶子，老是记得读[ˈbətl]，不知道怎么会记成这样。

regularly [ˈrɛgjʊləli]定期，这里面的两个[l]实在让我的舌头翻不过来，最后想了一个笨办法，先查regular的读音，然后再加上ly.

本篇文章虽然也不到一分钟，可是第一、二句就那么长，练了很久，还是不满意。在刚才翻QQ群的文件找文章的时候，无意看到后面的文章篇幅好长，好担忧：那得用多长时间啊。希望我练到那里的时候已经没有这么困难了。
