The benefit of instructing child

Talking about the topic, I guess most of parents won’t arrange their children to do housework. But in real life, many parents tend to help children to do everything. Parents should lead the children to do some things they can, which is very helpful for their growing. It means that the children should be practiced to do their own things, so that they can help the home to share housework for the parents. There will be the following benefits if children can do house work.

First, children should learn to do little things. For example, about three-year-old children, they can learn using chopsticks or spoon to eat food. After meals, arranging children to clean the table. When children are five-year-old, they should learn how to wear clothes and brush their tooth. During the life, whenever, children should be trained to do some things they can including washing bowl, washing socks, rubbing the table and so on. With age, the children maybe hardly finish all things good parents lead, but it is very essential that parents often encourage children to do those little things.

Second, doing housework can let children have a good habit. By leading children to finish housework, gradually, children will understand how to respect the other’s fruits of labor. Only children experience in person how to labor, they can understand a sense of gratitude. Nothing can succeed without paying labor. Besides, doing housework can cultivate children’s responsibility. After they are used to do these things, they can finish the work consciously without any reminding from parents. For example, they can guarantee the home with clean and tidy. 

Third, doing housework can train children’s confidence. As we know, training children’s confidence is a long process. After children learn to do something, they will own a sense of achievement. Naturally, this positive energy can encourage them to do other things. Generally, they don’t escape responsibility but facing all difficulties to challenge themselves.

In conclusion, training children to do housework not only can improve their operational ability, but also can promote their progress whatever in their life, learning or others. Parents must believe, if they can do small things well, they will have a right attitude to deal with other important things.
