当你出国旅游时，会问路以及能听得懂别人给你指路是必备技能，今天就来帮你总结最基础的问路指路实用英语表达方式。

1 问路（Asking for directions)

问路只要记住下面常用句型即可，并无太多技巧，要提醒的是，问别人路时，务必要注意礼貌，所以开头请用“Excuse me, could you help me...?"或者“Please..."

Where is the restroom, please?

Can you tell me how to get to the nearest post office?

Would you please give me the directions to the oriental Pearl Tower?

Is this the right way?

Is it far?

Could you show me on the map?

2 指路（Giving directions）

指路建议分四步走：

第一，使用固定表达方式，比如向左转可以有以下三种说法：Turn left, Go left, Take a left turn

第二，使用地标，比如: You will pass a fast station; You will see a big statue on the left. 

第三，运用连词分段指路，比如在指路时可以加after taht, then, next, finally等等。

第四，给出预估时间，比如It's a five-minute walk,; It takes about 10 minutes. 

常用句型如下：

Take the first left.

Take the first street on the left.

Turn right at the next traffic light.

Go along the main road/ the fifth avenue.

Go straight down this street for two blocks/about five minutes

Go past a cinema.

keep going until you reach a crossroad.

it's at the corner of Jiefang Road and Yinge Street

You will see the sign.

It's right across the street. You can't miss it.

如果给司机指路，则可用以下表达方式：

Make a U-turn on the one-way street at the next junction.

Take the freeway south and turn off at the fourth exit.

Drive south on Highway No. 5 and leave the highway at the third exit. 

Drive straight along the road, through the roundabout. Then follow the signs at the traffic lights.
