Generally, when some people decide, they may face two problems. For example, they don’t know how to decide facing some urgencies. This results in that they passively do somethings per other’s thoughts. And still others decide blindly without any thinking. It means that they often depend on their sense to make some decisions instead of investigation and thinking carefully. So, they often are regretful, because the result is often irrational and brings many troubles.
In my opinion, the reasons why the decisions are failure have three aspects. First, decision Makers lack the strength. In fact, it is difficult for them to rein the object they decide if they only rely on their own abilities and self-cultivate. In another hand, lack of confidence also will affect someone’s decision-making ability. If someone has no-confidence motion and isn’t willing to undertake the due obligations, he will tend to think that the decisions from others’ people are right and don’t believe himself. Third, lack of sense of responsibility is also important reason affecting the decision-making. Whenever, they want how to escape the responsibility that some failures bring. As soon as they encounter some problems, they never find a solution to resolve them first, but they try their best to pass the buck. Frankly, their negative attitude not only can’t let them escape the responsibility, but also add many troubles.
To improve our decision-making ability whatever in our life or during the work, we need to obey the following principles.
First, we must think deeply before deciding. It means that when we decide to choose a method, it is necessary for us to consider the pros and cons. In this way, the more we pay more attention to the considering, the less we may undertake the risk in the future. So, thinking carefully before deciding can’t be ignored.
Second, we must investigate first, then we decide. A correct decision-making depends on how well we know, so we must try to find out the truth on scene about something. Only real problem is found, our decision-making can be matched it. In this way, let it play a role.
Third, don’t reveal any information before the decision-making is announced. When we have a new idea, we must think deeply whether the idea is suited for the current problem. If we speak the point to others without any thinking, because of the immature action, it will bring more trouble for us. It is unworthy. As soon as we issue the decision-making, we must be steadfast to perform the action. Our decisions cannot be controlled by others.
Finally, when we perform the decision -making, we need to try our best to perform. A good decision-making means nothing without accurate performing. As Lenin said, a good action excels a good set of theory.
